The cause of death from a deputy pursuit and crash comes as a surprise.The coroner says the man who led deputies on a chase that ended with a crash on Ming Avenue in south Bakersfield died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. 33-year-old Marco Loera Fregoso injured two people in another car when he ran a red light around 7:30 Wednesday night, he had just sped away from an attempted traffic stop.
