LAMONT SUSPECT SET FREE

Charges have been dropped against one of three defendants in the Lamont murders.It involves the October killings of a father and son at their Lamont gas station. 34-year-old Myron Givan had fled the area and was captured in Colorado, but Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Zimmer says it was decided Friday they had to let him go free. The evidence was unable to establish that Givan was inside the gas station but his involvement continues to be investigated, Jim Langston and Darnell Hammond are set to go on trial in June.
