A Taft man has been arrested for punching the officers who were trying to take him in.

Police say 28-year-old Daniel Barajas was high on drugs and had three grams of meth on him when he was arrested Saturday afternoon on Third Street near San Emidio Street. Officers tazed Barajas when he started throwing punches.
