Pesticide restrictions begin this week for citrus growers south of 7th Standard Road. The County Agriculture Department says 10 percent bloom is anticipated on Thursday, so use of insecticides is being curtailed so bees can pollinate the blossoms. Everyone must comply with the restrictions in citrus areas so they don’t harm the bees.
