A Brinks truck driver has been tied up and robbed at gunpoint outside a bank in Delano. Police responded just before 11:00 AM Wednesday to the Chase Bank on Main Street to find the employee had been robbed while servicing an automated teller machine. Three men robbed the victim of money he was putting into the cash machine. The man was not injured but the robbers got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police have no suspects although some evidence was left behind. It’s also unclear how the thieves knew the machine was to be filled at that time.
