The State Senate has declared this week Aerospace and Aviation Days.The resolution is in recognition of what the industries contribute to California. Bakersfield Senator Jean Fuller founded the Aviation Caucus which promotes the event, and says installations like China Lake Naval Air Station, Armstrong Flight Research Center and the Mojave Spaceport make a big impact as the industries bring $169 Billion to California. That’s about three times as much as agriculture. There are various aerospace and aviation exhibits at the State Capitol through Wednesday.
