Sheriff’s detectives believe the fire that killed one person in Oildale may have been a homicide, and they’re asking anyone who knows something to call.

The victim was found in a burning shed behind a motor home that had also gone up in flames early Saturday morning on Beardsley Avenue near Plymouth Avenue.

Detectives do not have a suspect or a motive for the killing.
