Another suspected gang member in east Bakersfield has been arrested after tossing a loaded gun while he ran from police. 21-year-old Kelvin Allen was stopped early Sunday morning on East California Avenue near Robinson Street.

BPD has confiscated dozens of guns in the past month as they investigate a shooting that killed a five-year-old boy and wounded his seven-year-old brother.
