A body has been discovered in a canal between Easton Drive and Truxtun Avenue.The canal runs through southwest Bakersfield. Police say a bridge inspector found the person in the water around 3:00 Wednesday afternoon, and there’s no information on whether it’s a man or woman. The discovery is being investigated to see if the death may be suspicious or not.
