Two people in east Bakersfield are facing numerous weapons charges.

Officers from the Metro and Gang units took Clement Rhodes and Phylicia Mitchell into custody late Monday night during a warrant search on Union Avenue at E. 9th Street, where a loaded firearm and multiple ammo rounds were also found.

Both are ex-felons and Rhodes was on parole.
