A pair of chemical companies that supply San Joaquin Valley farmers have been fined by the Environmental Protection Agency for improper storage and labeling of pesticides. J.R. Simplot and Gar Tootelian are paying a combined $132,000 in fines.

The EPA says no chemicals were mishandled or misused.
