Three people have been injured in a single-engine airplane crash just off Sierra Way near the Kern Valley Airport. Injuries to the three adults onboard were serious, but not life-threatening as the plane went down around 7:00 Thursday night. The Piper Tri-Pacer is registered to an owner in San Clemente and what caused it to crash is unknown.
