A 19-year-old Rosamond man has turned himself in a month after he was charged with accidentally shooting and killing a 14-year-old boy.

Sheriff’s deputies say Deon Davison was holding a shotgun in an apartment on 25th Street West near Rosamond Blvd last year when it went off and hit Al McCraig. The boy later died at the hospital.
