The name of the Kern County Museum has been restored after less than a year of calling it Kern Pioneer Village. The board voted to drop the name and logo that former Executive Director Zoot Velasco put in place last July.

Pioneer Village is a popular part of the Chester Avenue grounds where historic buildings are displayed.
