The Kern County Auto Theft Task Force has used a parked trailer as bait to catch a thief. The CHP says 30-year-old Rene Camberos hooked up the decoy to his truck early Wednesday and towed it back to his home on Joleta Court in southwest Bakersfield. KernCATT members say it was still hitched when they found it and they intend to continue to use the bait trailer.
