The CHP says a man is in the hospital with major injuries after an accident caused by running a stop sign in Wasco.

Santa Maria resident Chris Baz flipped his car when he hit Jose Gonzalez-Rodriguez’ pickup at Wildwood and Pond roads Sunday afternoon. Gonzalez-Rodriguez had minor injuries after he was sent into a power pole.
