Two Kern County roads that were closed for several months because of the winter rains are back open. Caliente Bodfish Road had been washed out since February while traffic is flowing again on Sierra Way near Highway 178 in Weldon.

Crews are working to reopen six more blocked streets including part of Panama Road near Bakersfield.
