The local blood bank says hot temperatures are cooling off donations.The call goes out as supplies are at the critical level. Houchin Community Blood Bank says their A-negative stock has dipped into critical as the heat pushes down an already low number of donors this time of year. Summer vacations and school not being in session always cuts supplies, so they’re asking for help.
