Sheriff’s Search and Rescue volunteers are scouring the Kern River near Keyesville after a 25-year-old man was seen jumping into the water for a swim.

A Kern County Fire helicopter joined in the search that began around 5:00 Thursday afternoon, but no sign of the man was found before it got dark.
