The Valley Air Pollution Control District is keeping an air quality advisory in place due to smoke from four nearby wildfires: the Garza, Whittier, Schaeffer and Detwiller.

Spokeswoman Jamie Holt says the smoke you can’t smell is the one you have to watch out for because those particles can get into your lungs and bloodstream. The elderly, young children, and people with respiratory issues are encouraged to limit outdoor activities.
