At least two of the central valley wildfires that are contributing to our poor air quality are close to being controlled. The Alamo Fire on SR 166 is 98-percent contained and the Garza Fire in Kings County is 90-percent contained while full containment of the Schaeffer Fire above Kernville is expected July 31st. It was 70-percent contained at last report.
