A well known local wine maker charged with killing a woman in a DUI, hit and run accident has pleaded not guilty. Bakersfield Police believe John Giumarra the Third ran over bicyclist Angela Holder on Golden State Avenue and F Street in January. Giumarra was warned at Monday’s hearing he will be charged with murder if he’s arrested for another fatal DUI crash, he has a prior misdemeanor for DUI.
