A man has been convicted of kidnapping, assaulting, and raping a woman near Hart Park in Bakersfield.

Darryl Moore also strangled the victim after the attack last year, but she was able to regain consciousness and jump out of his car near the freeway to escape. He faces 50 years to life in prison at his sentencing next month.
