The Sheriff’s Office is asking the DA to review two Oildale homicides before they make any arrests. 32-year-old John Maltby died during a fight at a party on Michele Avenue earlier this month but no suspects have been named. Dustin Johnson was shot to death in an Olive Drive apartment in May. The suspect in that case is 62-year-old Raymond Rankin.
