Kern County Sheriff’s detectives have arrested two men in Los Angeles for an attempted armed robbery at an east Bakersfield pot shop. Deputies say Robert Williams and Marvell Carruthers were wounded in shootout with a security guard last year at the Peace and Medicine Marijuana Dispensary on Niles Street and Locust Ravine. They also face attempted murder charges.
