The District Attorney’s Office will not be pressing charges against a Sheriff’s deputy who was arrested for spousal abuse and false imprisonment because there is not enough evidence to charge Lawrence Thatcher.

The Sheriff’s Office has not released details about the arrest of the 11 year veteran in June. Thatcher is on paid leave.
