Students at Cal State Bakersfield are getting some help to offset the rising costs of textbooks for their classes. Affordable Learning Solutions coordinator Sandra Bozarth says up to 40 students can check out one book per term. Donations can be made through boxes at the campus bookstore and the university library, the textbooks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
