Bakersfield Congressman Kevin McCarthy is encouraging high-school students to participate in an annual district wide app challenge. It’s designed for those interested in exploring the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and math or STEM. Participants can enter individually or as a team of four. Deadline to apply is November 1st.
