A woman who was hurt in a head on collision on Santa Fe Way in Shafter is identified as 28-year-old Angelica Gonzales of Bakersfield, who was airlifted to Kern Medical.

Police say she and a small child were in an SUV that was hit by a Honda Sunday afternoon near Los Angeles Way, and the woman driving the Accord died. Two kids in that car were also hurt.
