The coroner’s office has identified a man shot to death on Edison Highway near Oswell Street as 41-year-old Cesar Leal of Bakersfield. Deputies say he was attacked last Friday in the parking lot of a business. There have been no arrests and it’s believed the weapon used was a long rifle.
