The man who died in an officer-involved shooting in Delano has been identified as 32-year-old Ernie Macias of Earlimart. Police say Macias drove his car towards officers Sunday morning near Norwalk Street and 22nd Avenue, forcing one to open fire. Two officers are on administrative leave pending an investigation.
