Fruitvale Junior High in Bakersfield has been recognized as one of 22 high-performing middle schools to watch in California and the only one on the list from Kern County. It’s being credited for creating a forensic medical science program where students can use their analytical skills. Staff will be recognized at a Sacramento luncheon March 1st.
