Deputies are calling a woman’s death a homicide after she was found this afternoon [fri] in a field northwest of Breckinridge and Edison Roads east of Bakersfield. The sheriff’s office says she had trauma to her face and appeared to be in her early to mid-30s. If you have any information, call Secret Witness at 322-4040.
