MOVIE EXTRAS HEAD TO CRYSTAL PALACE

People from all over Kern County traveled to Bakersfield for their chance to be in a Hollywood movie. The extras lined up bright and early on Monday to shoot scenes for the Edward James Olmos film “The Devil Has A Name” inside the world famous Crystal Palace.

Producers say they wanted to give the movie, about an almond farmer who takes on an oilman accused of poisoning his water, a local flavor by shooting in Kern County. The crew will visit several sites here over the next few weeks.
