Another pedestrian has died while crossing Union Avenue in Bakersfield. Police say the woman was struck around 6:30 last night near E. California Avenue, an area known for deadly incidents, and the driver is not suspected of DUI or speeding. Forty two-pedestrians were killed last year in Kern County, including 21 in Bakersfield.
