Three men suspected of gunning down a man outside a Family Dollar store in east Bakersfield have pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and other felonies. Prosecutors believe Jose Zambrano, Juan Rubio and Jose Urenda killed Carlos Munoz on Union Avenue and East 4th Street last year over a drug debt.
