Kern County Supervisors have reached a deal to redraw their district lines, which they were ordered to do after being sued. The Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund charged the last boundary maps that were drafted violated the Voting Rights Act when just one district reflected the majority Latino population. The federal judge who made the order will review the agreement this afternoon.
