Kern County Supervisors have accepted a donation of handmade quilts and tote bags for the kids housed at the Jamison Children’s Center in Bakersfield. They’re valued at $12-thousand and come from the Pine Mountain Scrappers Quilt Club. The Jamison Center cares for kids who’ve been removed from homes due to abuse, neglect or abandonment.
