ROBBERS LEAVE VICTIM IN CAR

Police are looking for two men who robbed a home in northwest Bakersfield then tied up the owner and stuffed him in his own car.

Sgt. Brian Holcombe says the suspects busted into the house on Siena Lane north of Rosedale Highway around 3:00 Thursday morning. Officers have not said what they got away with, but the homeowner was injured when he tried to confront them.

Neighbors eventually heard the man screaming and called police.

BPD does not think the suspects and the homeowner knew each other.

The suspects are described as between 20 and 25-years-old. The first man is between six and 6’4″ tall. The second is 5’10” tall.
