Some parents are being asked to test their toddlers for lead poisoning after lead paint was found in a south Bakersfield preschool. County Public Health also found high levels of lead in the soil at Brilliant Minds Academy on Taft Hwy.

The preschool is staying open, but parents are invited to a meeting at 6:00 Monday night at Public Health headquarters on Mt. Vernon Avenue.
