The Bakersfield man who held his girlfriend and her adult son at knife-point has been sentenced to five years in jail.

36-year-old Mario Cornejo pleaded no contest to corporal injury on a spouse and resisting arrest shortly after the incident April 2nd on Breckenridge Road where Sheriff’s crisis negotiators had to coax him out of the home.
