The man accused of driving Highway 65 in north Bakersfield with a body in the passenger seat has been let go from prison–but his brother’s been arrested for murder.

Deputies say Adam Barness pretended to be his brother Ben when he was pulled over in January before fingerprints id’d him as a suspect in Evmir Evangelista’s murder. He’s also accused of using Ben’s identity while serving two months in prison earlier this year on a stolen vehicle charge.

A second suspect, Manpreet Sidhu, has also been charged with murder.
