The funeral for former Bakersfield mayor Mary K. Shell is scheduled for Thursday, June 21 at St. Francis of Assisi church downtown.

The rosary will begin at 10:00a.m. with a reception to follow and graveside service later that day.

Bakersfield’s first female mayor died June 14th at 91 from unknown causes.
