Two Bakersfield residents have each been sentenced to at least a year in jail for stealing the identities of dozens of school employees.

Marlene Alva and Kenneth McGill were caught last month when they walked into a tire store on Buck Owens Blvd. while Sheriff’s detectives were there. Deputies will not say which school may have been targeted.

Alva and McGill were found with 136 stolen identities.
