Wasco, California City, Mojave, and Ridgecrest could be getting a new ambulance service.

The California Emergency Medical Services Agency recently ruled that Kern County awarded contracts to Hall and Liberty Ambulances without a proper bidding process years ago. It’s unclear when companies can start making new bids.
