A teenage boy who was going too fast when he round a curve on Round Mountain Road in northeast Bakersfield is hospitalized in critical condition. News reports say the 17-year-old apparently lost control and crossed into the path of an oncoming vehicle near Adolphus Road around 8:30 Wednesday night.

The other driver has minor injuries.
