Bakersfield Police say a four-year-old boy who was pulled from a motel swimming pool has been transferred to Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera. CPR was performed Monday night, and the child was breathing as he was taken to Memorial Hospital.

He was with a group of adults and other kids when he fell into the water at the Vagabond Inn on Colony Street and Panama Lane.
