The Golden Empire Gleaners in central Bakersfield needs a new air conditioner after thieves scaled an eight foot wall and took copper wire out of the unit. The food bank says in a Facebook post that the theft happened over the 4th of July.

This is the second burglary in a month after several of their trucks were broken into on Father’s Day.
