Final plans and permits for the Tehachapi Walmart have been issued at City Hall.

Development Services Director Jay Schlosser says people can expect to see dirt moving at the end of the month. Construction for the store on Tucker Road is expected to be completed in about a year, after the project faced years of legal battles.
