The man who set an apartment fire in southeast Bakersfield that injured eight police officers has pleaded no contest to arson and resisting arrest. Brian Moore also set his car on fire during a welfare check in April at the complex on South H Street and White Lane. An attempted murder charge was dropped in exchange.

Sentencing is August 16th.
